Lincoln Unveils Revolutionary Touring Vehicle Concept

Lincoln MKT Given The Green Light
After reading many rumors stating that the Lincoln MKT was being canceled, it's been given the green light. The Ford Flex-based crossover luxury utility vehicle is in development and on schedule. The MKT, code-named D472, is (so far) retaining much of the styling of the concept (pictured).
The base model will likely be powered by a 270 horsepower v6 engine. The top-of-the-line model shoud have the 415 horsepower EcoBoost 3.5 liter v6 used in the concept. Expect to find the Lincoln MKT in dealer showrooms some time during the fall of 2009.
